New Websmater Tips

Tips Every New Webmaster Should Know…

1. Do what you want. If you don’t produce what you like then the content will be just that; not what you want. Produce what you are good at, and you will be successful.

2. Less is more! Don’t overload any one page with content of any kind. Don’t try to clog up your site with flashy graphics. Get to the point, especially if you have an e-commerce site.

3. Never give up! Always try to do your best even when you think you can’t. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it and you would never have the chance. This also true for when you establish your presence on the web. Always update your content and always try to come up with new ideas. Remember; freshness is the key to keeping your visitors coming back.

4. Monitor and track everything that can be on your site. Remember, if you track something, then you can improve upon it. This especially true for site traffic. There are plenty of free site tracking tools to help you better analyze and understand your visitors. No excuses…

5. Make navigation through your site easy. Don’t make your visitors have to “jump through hoops” to get some where. The easier they find something the happier they will be. Happy visitors make happy webmasters.
